Ballarat Fine Art Gallery

Located in the heart of Ballarat, the Ballarat Fine Art gallery houses a collection established in 1884 and is the oldest and largest gallery in regional Australia. It houses major collections covering the history of Australian art from the early colonial period to the present day. A dynamic exhibition program ensures that there is always something fresh to see.

Ballarat Eureka Center

The Eureka Center provides a dramatic focus for contemplation and reflection. Visitors will experience the tensions and the drama of the Eureka Rebellion as they move through a series of galleries which employ multi-media technology to vividly bring the Eureka Story to life. In one of Ballarat's unique architectural masterpiece's. Its huge Eureka Sail, symbolising the flag of the Southern Cross, soars above the city Skyline.

Ballarat Wildlife Park

Ballarat Wildlife Park is set on 16 hectares of natural bush land, a picturesque and tranquil backdrop for a diverse collection of Australian wildlife. Visitors can experience the excitement of close contact with a selection of Australia's most loved animals.

Ballarat Botanical Gardens

The Ballarat Botanical Gardens established in 1858 are considered one of Australia's best examples of the 19th Century gardenesque style landscape. The Gardens comprise the South Gardens Reserve with the Australian Ex Prisoner of War Memorial, Tramways Museum and Trout Hatcheries. The central gardens precinct and the North Gardens Reserve with its wetlands and indigenous plant collections. The 11 hectare central gardens are famous for landmark architecture including the cast iron Statuary Pavilion (1888) and Robert Clark Conservatory (1995).
